This week in Reception and at home, we have been reading “What the Ladybird Heard”, and have enjoyed drawing the characters from the story with the help of Lydia Monks, the illustrator of the book. We have also drawn our own maps to find a hidden toy, learnt how to use a numberline and changed the ending of the story! As this week is also ‘Mental Health week’, we have also taken time out to reflect and also drew our very own ‘Odd Dog Out’ that reflected who we are as individuals, to show that it is ok to be different.
